GK Archi won the first prize of Student Cultural House HCM project in Vietnam

In 2012, GK Archi – Nihon Sekkei (Japan) was honored to win the first prize of the Youth Cultural House Design Contest organized by HCM City Youth Union.

The Student Cultural House HCM project was started construction in December 2014. This is one of the symbolic works and the key project of the Party Committee – People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City is very interested and support.

The project is located in the campus of the National University of Ho Chi Minh City (Di An district, Binh Duong province), has an area of ​​3.55ha land area of ​​7 floors (1 ground floor, 5 floors, roof terrace ).  This project has a total investment over 420 billion. The Student Cultural House Design Project is considered by the investors as a high-tech work that emphasizes architectural aesthetics and aims to form a symbol for the entire Ho Chi Minh City National University. The project was designed by GK Archi in collaboration with Japan’s Nihon Sekkei unit. The design of the project has been developed with a view to taking into account microclimate, natural ventilation and energy savings. Project design Student Cultural House is evaluated by investors as a work of high art, aesthetic architecture and orientation to form a symbol for the entire National University Ho Chí Minh. The project was designed by GK Archi and Nihon Sekkei of Japan. This project is designed with a focus on micro-climate, natural ventilation and energy saving.


The project is designed to include 7 floors (1 ground floor, 5 floors, roof terrace roof) with a total construction area of about 30,000 m2.

Student Cultural House of Ho Chi Minh National University is equipped with modern facilities and convenient facilities such as conference room, conference hall, computer room, recording room, singing room, theater, Hospitality, business, counseling, drama, dance, foreign language, exercise, library, multifunctional sports grounds, club activities, outdoor stage … Tissue serves more than 400,000 students in Ho Chi Minh City.
