In December 2016, GK Archi supervised the project of the Golden Beach Chaungtha Resort in Chuangtha, Pathein, Myanmar.
Chaungtha, Pathein is a sea in western Myanmar, where there are beautiful sandy beaches stretching out towards the Indian Ocean. It takes about 6 hours drive from Yangon City to Pathein and then to Chaungtha Beach.
The Golden Beach Chungtha Resort, designed by GK Archi, is located in Chaungtha’s long sandy beach, which has its own stretch of coastline.
Chaungtha is a beautiful beach but not quite known to many tourists until the Myanmar tourism market developed thanks to the policy of open government.
With 3-star scale and maximum cost-saving design, the main aim is to take advantage of the scenery and beautiful sea view. The Chaungtha project is completing the last category of hotel rooms and finishing decorations to meet the scale of the popular tourist area.
GK Archi participates in the planning, landscape and architecture design for the project. The construction work is paid by the owner himself.
